amaran Halo 100x Bi-Color LED Monolight

Built for everyday creators working in tight spaces, the 100W Halo 100x Bi-Color LED Monolight from amaran offers higher output, flexible power options, and intuitive control. This point-source COB fixture is brighter than the previous amaran 100x S in roughly one-third of its size, outputting 4890 lux from a distance of 3.3′ at its native and wider 85° beam angle. Just as the Halo 60x, the 100x version has a variable CCT from 2700 to 6500K and high color accuracy ratings, which enable flattering warm and cool lighting results. Control its settings with instant, one-tap pairing to the amaran app via built-in NFC and power the fixture using the included AC to DC adapter via USB-C PD input. The Halo 100x has the same ultra-compact, space-saving footprint as the 60x model and still retains a reinforced full-size Bowens mount. Whether you need a reliable lighting setup for small spaces or home studios, the amaran Halo 100x will help you craft different looks by delivering consistent bi-color output and natural lighting results.

The Halo 100x is a practical lighting solution for content creators and videographers in need of studio-quality light and more output for small spaces. The lighting adjustments can be made onboard with an intuitive TFT screen that has a simplified colored menu or wirelessly from a distance of up to 262′ using your smartphone and the amaran app featuring one-tap NFC capability. Different from the previous 100x S, the Halo 100x runs using an included AC to DC adapter, via USB-C PD input, or with the optional amaran Peak series.

Impressive ratings of CRI 96, TLCI 97, SSI 84 and 74, and TM-30 94 and 102 are your assurance of a high degree of accuracy in color reproduction at all times. The advanced spectral quality of the Halo 100x will ensure accurate skin tone reproduction for your videos. These ratings reflect cleaner warm-to-cool white light, true skin tones, and highly accurate colors that stay consistent on camera and to the eye.

Follow your creative impulses with the unit’s nine lighting effects, which include paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, and fire. Not only creative and versatile, the Halo 100x is able to stay cool thanks to its active cooling system. The light is quiet enough for video work at 28 dBA (in smart mode) with the choice of silent, smart, and high fan modes. Despite its compact body, optimized cooling keeps it quiet for sound-sensitive environments.
